‘The Power of Sound’, is the second in our series of Malevich.io Symposiums. It will explore the role of sound from communication, music, religious ceremonies, healing and therapeutic methods to sound as a weapon; tracing its evolution from tribal chanting to digital download. We are opening a debate to explore the nature of sound and the impact it has on contemporary society. The Symposium will begin by discussing communal experience in art and sound and will continue by exploring sound in science, spiritual ceremony and psychology.
